Workflow is all CTP -- computer-to-plate.
Files must follow the below specifications to meet the criteria. Extra charges could apply if additional work is needed. Full pages must be set up at trim size.

Trim: 8-3/8 in. Wide x 10-7/8 in. High
Live Area: 7-1/4 in. Wide x 9 3/4 in. High
Full Page Bleed: 8-5/8in. Wide x 11-1/8in. High

Electronic Media Requirements

All files must be in MacIntosh Platform. No PDFs. No film accepted.

• QuarkXpress 4.0 or higher.

• Illustrator or Freehand EPS files with all fonts converted to outlines/paths, and all support materials such as logos or art materials sent with EPS document.

• Phototshop and images must be in CMYK color mode at 300 dpi resolution saved as Tiff or EPS files..

Writers Guidelines
Relocating in Saint Louis magazine accepts freelance articles. Story ideas should be submitted via email to Mindy Whittle at mindy.whittle@gmail.com. A detailed description of the article should be provided.

Once the concept has been approved, all writers will workk closely with Relocating Magazine to ensure the article reflects the readership of the magazine. The author is expected to provide accurate information, magazine style/formats and correct spelling. Files should be submitted in Microsoft Word only.


Photography Guidelines

Relocating in Saint Louis Magazine purchases premium quality images pertaining to Saint Louis and surrounding areas. Images portraying recreational activities, tourism, nature, business development, cultural events, historical sites and the people of Saint Louis are of interest.

Film Format:
Fine grain, color positive film in 35mm or larger formats is accepted. Duplicate images are acceptable for review, but in most cases, originals are required for actual use and payment. Color negative film will be accepted only under special circumstances. Note: Digital images must be sent at 300 dpi, sized original files. Please call first if you have any questions.

Labeling and Documentation:
All images must be clearly labeled with photographer's name and pertinent information on photo content. An itemized documenting the number of images submitted must be included. Please remember to include your social security number for our records. Your social security number is required if you wish to be paid for your published submissions.

Copyright:
Relocating in Saint Louis purchases one-time rights. All submissions must be original and exclusive, without infringement on the rights or copyrights of others.

Returns:
